July 4th!

Hi Mel and Liv,

Happy Belated 4th of July. Currently I am sitting at an airport on my way back to Boston after having spent the weekend with Trace and his family in TN. We had a really wonderful weekend staying in Pigeon Forge, hanging in the Smoky Mountains and doing a little bit of shopping.

On our way up into the Smokies we made a few stops to take in the view. Then as we had almost hiked all the way up a path to get the best view, a clap of thunder, we decided we didn't really want to get struck by lightening so we headed back down. On the way back down the path we kept detecting small black bugs on almost everyone we passed, um yes, those were ticks. Needless to say Natrisha and I ran down the rest of the path basically screaming.

and speaking of waiting around, Trace and I have not been so lucky at airports lately, I am starting to think I am in the movie Terminal, is it wrong to try and wash your hair in the bathroom sink, better yet is it inappropriate to ask someone in the bathroom to wash it for you??

So tomorrow we pick up Brady, the Woods (our cousins) dog. We are taking care of her for 2 months while they are away, trying to convert her from a suburban dog to a city dog, wish us luck!
